The Artist behind JA Paints 307 - January 2026

A new year means a new beginning, and I’m stepping into it with gratitude and renewed motivation. As of March 14, I’ll be celebrating three years of selling my artwork, and looking back, it’s been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, and perseverance. Building JA Paints 307 has been more than just creating art—it’s been about sharing stories, emotions, and moments through each piece. This past year tested me in many ways. Toward the end especially, challenges and unexpected hardships came fast, and things became overwhelming at times. Even so, those moments pushed me to grow stronger, stay focused, and keep moving forward. Every obstacle became part of the process, shaping both my work and my mindset as an artist. Heading into 2026, I’m excited to introduce a freshly updated website and shop for JA Paints 307. This new space represents a clean slate and a renewed vision for where the brand is going. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be adding new artwork to the shop, continuing to explore new ideas, techniques, and creative directions.

Statement from Joey of JA Paints 307 - January 10th 2026

At JA Paints 307, we have long valued the principles of equality, dignity, and respect for every individual. As members of our community, we are deeply concerned about the recent actions taken by the Trump Administration with respect to ICE agents and the impact these actions have on our society as a whole.

We believe that every person, regardless of their background, deserves to live in a community that is safe and free from fear. Unfortunately, the measures enforced have led to a significant rise in harm and violence, undermining the safety and security of our neighborhoods. We feel it is essential that local and state governments maintain their autonomy to decide what is best for their citizens, including the right to challenge agencies that may contribute to division and unrest.

In light of these circumstances, we stand firmly in support of those protesting against these actions and echo the sentiments of local and state governments that have condemned the practices of the ICE agency. We call upon the U.S. government to refocus its efforts on serving the American people effectively and equitably, ensuring that the rights and safety of all individuals are prioritized.

Together, we can advocate for a more just and humane approach to immigration enforcement, one that reflects the values upon which our great nation was founded. - JA
